For years, one of the biggest frustrations for Mac users has been the lack of a way to build reports in Power BI. Power BI Desktop, the app traditionally used to build reports is not supported on macOS and the online version of Power BI had severe limitations. But all that has changed.
Whilst Power BI Desktop is still Windows-only, Microsoft have made major improvements to the web-based version of Power BI. You can now import data from around 180 sources, clean data using the powerful Query Editor and build reports directly from your browser.
Windows users will probably still prefer Power BI Desktop but for Mac users, this update is a potential game-changer.
If you’ve ever felt locked out of Power BI because you use a Mac, you’ll definitely want to watch this video.
