Working with dates in Excel can be a bit of a nightmare. It’s something that I get asked about all the time, so I thought I’d create a short video. Although it starts with the basics of how Excel recognises and handles dates, it’s not an all-you-need-to-know-about-dates video (that would be way to long). In addition to the basics, it covers using dates in 2 specific scenarios: how to calculate the difference between 2 dates (how many days until Christmas? for example) followed by how to extract a day name from a date.
