You typed a long number into a cell, say a ProductID that was 20 digits long. Excel has replaced the last 5 digits with zeros. For example: 12345678912345678911 becomes 12345678912345600000
What gives?
Excel can’t store more than 15 digits per cell. When a number that is larger than this is entered into a cell, Excel stores the first 15 digits and replaces all remaining digits with zeros. In this video I’m going to show you how to fix this issue.
