If you’ve ever attended or organised a large dinner or wedding reception you’ll know that it’s usual at these types of events to have a seating plan displayed on the wall so that people know which table they’re sitting at.

In this video I’ll show you how to quickly generate a seating plan in Excel from a list of names and then copy the generated names to PowerPoint which has much stronger design capabilities.
